🔍 Overview

Colossians 2 warns believers against deceptive philosophies and human traditions that undermine the sufficiency of Christ. Paul emphasizes that fullness of life and wisdom is found in Christ alone, who is the head over all powers and authorities. He reminds the Colossians that they are complete in Christ, having been spiritually circumcised and forgiven through His work on the cross. The chapter calls believers to remain rooted in Christ, resisting legalism, asceticism, and false teachings.

Fullness in Christ – All spiritual treasures, wisdom, and knowledge are found in Him (v.9–10).

Warning Against Deception – Be cautious of hollow philosophies, human traditions, and legalistic teachings (v.8).
