2 Peter 3

Dominique Young

In a world filled with delays, disappointments, and distractions, it's easy to let our hope in Christ's return fade into the background. But 2 Peter 3 reminds us: God is not slow—He’s patient. His delay is not a denial, but a demonstration of His mercy, giving more people time to turn to Him. Though scoffers may question and seasons may stretch long, we are called to live with eager anticipation and steady faith.

Don’t let go of your hope. The return of Jesus is not a myth or wishful thinking—it’s a promised reality. One day, He will come, just as He said. Until then, we wait, not with fear or frustration, but with faith-filled obedience, living holy and hopeful lives that reflect the Kingdom to come.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for Your promise to return. Strengthen my hope when the wait feels long, and help me live each day in light of eternity. Keep my heart expectant, my life faithful, and my hands ready to serve while I wait. I trust Your timing and Your goodness. Amen.
